Situated within the pristine countryside of the Quercy Blanc is this stylish and fully outfitted romantic getaway for two. Every detail of this recently completed renovation preserves the charm of the regional barn architecture of beautiful limestone and timber construction. The cottage offers stunning pastoral views from its hilltop location. Just steps away is a 6 x 10 m pool, sundeck, and lush gardens... all in the secluded setting of our five acre property.
Our cottage makes the ideal base to explore the region. We are located just outside the picturesque medieval village of Montaigu-de-Quercy which offers quaint winding cobblestone streets, shops, galleries, and restaurants. In short walking distance down the hill you will find a lovely small lake with sandy beaches and some tourist infrastructure. Within a short drive are many historic sites and charming villages to explore. Many of these have local market days which are a delight to experience. The regions of Quercy blanc and Périgord noir also offer excellent hiking, kayaking, and cycling for outdoor enthusiasts.
